The Froomsplint® Roller can be used on a flat surface to move in any direction. The Froomsplint® attaches with Velcro to the roller, making it easy to transfer to other Froomsplint products. My mother used this to exercise her arm, on the coffee table while sitting on the couch and on the dining room table while standing. She used this after she started having some movement returning in her hand and arm. By extending her arm out across the table in front of her, it relieved some of the pain in her shoulder.
